Tommy Lee Sparta And Aidonia Joins For Peace

Hardcore dancehall artistes Tommy Lee Sparta and Aidonia are set to headline a peace concert called ‘Stop the Violence, Stop the Crime’.
The event will be hosted in Bull Bay as part of a Caribbean peace tour organised by Bermudian promoter Kevin Smith.
The STAR contacted Keona Williams, publicist for Tommy Lee Sparta, and according to her, Tommy Lee is an ambassador for peace.
“Tommy Lee Sparta is not just about the hardcore element, he wants to portray a positive image and be a good role model for the youths. We are hoping his fans will come out and be in full support of the message at the event,” Williams continued.

“Tommy Lee’s music is just for entertainment, but as a person he advocates for peace, he is an ambassador for peace and that is the message he wants to promote. Patrons can expect an exciting performance and some new tracks,” she said.
The publicist for dancehall artiste Aidonia, who currently has the number one spot on ER’s Top 10 with his collaborative single Run Road, says the artiste has a double personality.

“Aidonia and Sheldon Lawrence are two different persons, he has a positive side and hardcore side. You can’t just give fans one side of music so we bring it in different contexts, and this peace concert will show a different side of him. He has uplifting songs and he is a very violence free person. In this time in our country, we need to join together for good and this is one of the main reasons we do this,” Williams said.
She continued, “He has at least three new songs coming out advocating for peace and we even have more charity projects on the way so people can look out for that and for the Sheldon side of Aidonia.”
The ‘Stop the Violence, Stop the Crime’ concert will also feature iconic reggae/dancehall artiste Sizzla as well as Potential Kidd, Stylish, Marlon Binns, Eyesus, Hype Type, Darrio, Chi Ching Ching, Food Kartel among others.
Tommy Lee Sparta recently returned from a promotional weekend in Canada where he performed at two sold out events. Aidonia also returned to the island after performing at the World Of Reggae show in Barbados.
‘Stop the Violence, Stop the Crime’ concert will be held at The Little Coppa Club in 8 Miles, Bull Bay, on Saturday, November 24, 2012
